Raising Quality Llamas

Our Passion in the Foothills of Alberta
Meet Don & Rosalee
Wolf Valley Llamas started with Don when he lived in central Alberta. After many years with dairy cattle, beef cattle, horses and other farm animals, Rosalee found a love that she didn't know that she had once introduced to the llamas.
Together, we live in southwestern Alberta, surrounded by our llamas, horses, dogs, cats and all types of wildlife. We love to share our love of animals and joy in nature with others.
We can be found at a Chinook Llama and Alpaca meeting, showing in places such as Millarville or at home with the critters.
We mostly have classic llamas, but also have a couple of suri and a number of suri crosses.
We also love to travel to places like Mexico, Central America and South America.
As of early 2025, we have 25 llamas from 8 months to 14 years. Though this is always changing.
Currently, we have 9 breeding females from 3 to 12 yrs. Our females are not registered so far, but we are working on that status as they are all from registered stock.
We have 2 registered studs CDL Touche' Too (Argentine Touche' X WRC Ultra Violet) affectionately called CD and Short Shanks (Boliva's Cypress X LW Dream Child) affectionately called Short Shanks. heritage

We breed quality llamas at Wolf Valley. Our llamas are used for breeding, showing, fibre production, packing, as guardians and as family pets. Here at Wolf Valley, we acknowledge that llamas are herd animals. We sell our llamas in pairs, unless you already have at least one llama. Llamas on the Move!
Two Wolf Valley Llamas are heading East, way, way out East. Oreo and Jules are travelling all the way to the other side of the country out to Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia! We hope they love the salty air and their new home. It looks to be a real beauty. ♥♥♥
New Cria Alert!
May 26th the Newest Cria
May
May 26th brought the newest cria! Spice has a little girl who is black/chocolate and white. This little girl has some interesting markings.
Easter weekend of 2025 has brought the first new cria of the year to Wolf Valley!
Pepper gave birth to a stud on Good Friday. This little cria is spotted like an appaloosa horse and his sire is CD (CDL Touche' Too).
Cinnamon had her first cria on April 19th. This piebald cria is also a stud and has the same sire, CD (CDL Touche' Too).
Both mom's and cria look to be in good health.
With llama's you never know what you are going to get for color.e
